Technical Notes

When C19 outlet is mounted in a power strip or enclosure take care not to damage the outlet when removing the plug. To remove SecureSleeve that remains in outlet after cord extraction pull SecureSleeve tabs that extend from outlet. If unable to extract with tabs then turn off power source and use Non-conductive tool to extract.

This model is black and has tabs to ease extraction. To properly install the C20 Firm slide over plug shroud and press firmly onto plug. Fully insert cord to avoid arcing between conductors
